Hours: AM and PM shifts available  

Contract Type: Full Time, Part Time and Permanent 

Salary: Morning Shift:  £11.68 per hour / Afternoon Shift: £12.67 per hour

Job Summary

We are recruiting for multiskilled production operative to join our team. We have vacancies across two of our shifts:

• • • • Fixed Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 (37.5 hours per week)
      • Fixed Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 14:00 – 00:00 (38 hours per week)

These are permanent, full-time positions.

We will also welcome applicants seeking part time work.

 

Key Responsibilities

As a Multi-Skilled Production Operative, you will ultimately be fully competent to work flexibly in different production roles & in different production cells.

Our multiskilled operatives will be required to work (but not limited to) in the following disciplines:

• • • • Cutting & Processing (Manual, NC & CNC Plant)
      • Forming & Manipulation (Manual, NC & CNC Plant)
      • Welding (MIG, TIG, CNC Robotic, Spot & Stud Plant)
      • Finishing
      • Assembly

Our products are manufactured from a range of materials including aluminium, mild steel, stainless steel sheet & tube, wood & plastics. Using a wide range of processes including CNC machinery, MIG, TIG, plasma, spot welding, polishing, powder coating, upholstery & assembly, you will have the opportunity to gain experience, skills & knowledge in a wide range of manufacturing processes.

 

Experience

Ideally have previous experience within an engineering or manufacturing environment and an understanding of drawings and specifications and be able to undertake quality checks.
