Salary: Morning Shift: £13.00 per hour - £14.57 per hour (DOE) / Afternoon Shift: £14.11 per hour - £15.81 per hour (DOE)

Job Summary

We are recruiting for MIG and/ or TIG welders to join our team. We have vacancies across two of our shifts:

• • • • • Fixed Morning Shift: Monday to Friday, 06:00 – 14:00 (37.5 hours per week)
        • Fixed Afternoon Shift: Monday to Thursday, 14:00 – 00:00 (38 hours per week)

These are permanent, full-time positions.

We will also welcome applicants seeking part time work.

Key Responsibilities

The successful post holder will be required to MIG or TIG weld to fabricate assemblies, interpreting drawings and work instructions as required.  

The range of work is varied but will typically include welding of Mild steel, Aluminium and Stainless Steel, Sheet, and Tube.

All candidates will be required to undertake a weld assessment that will include:

• • • • • Risk assessment to understand safe system of work
        • Welding & brazing work instruction
        • Weld unit work instruction

Experience

You will have previous experience of MIG or TIG welding and the ability to understand drawings and specifications and be able to undertake quality checks.
